• awards $300 1^st  Place, $150 2^nd  Place in Open divisions. Minimum of 12 entrants/teams per division for full prize money, otherwise prorated. All other division will get trophies.

• deadline to Enter: Amateur deadline is Monday, December 7th, 2009 for online entries.  Mail-in entries must be postmarked by Friday, December 4th.  See 2^nd page of the form above for how to enter.  The deadline for entering the Women’s Pros is Friday, December 4th, and must be done directly with Shannon Feaster.

Note:  Due to the size of the event, we will NOT be accommodating time restrictions (kids and military personnel excepted).  Please plan accordingly.

 • hospitality Tournament souvenirs for all participants. Friday – dinner. Saturday - breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Sunday - breakfast and lunch.

 • accommodations The Crowne Plaza Hotel in Arlington is our host hotel.  You can reserve rooms directly on our website, www.novaracquetball.com.  This hotel is right next door to the club at 1480 Crystal Drive.  Reservations can also be made by calling 703-416-1600 as well at this link: 

• on-line Registration Instructions - To register for your first event, simply select the division you wish to register for, indicate your partner's name (if applicable), and click "Add to cart." A new PayPal window will open with your first event information. To register for your second event, click the "Continue Shopping" button and select your second event, indicate your partner's name (if applicable), and click "Add to cart." To complete the registration process select "Checkout" on the PayPal webpage and follow the instructions. Once you get to PayPal webpage, you will see the email address on top of the page "kdenu318@yahoo.com" which indicates the payment will be forwarded to Karen Denu to process the online entry.  Please make sure that the "shipping required" button is checked. No surcharges are associated with this online registration!

• •Eyewear• USA Racquetball Official Rules will govern competition [available for reference online at www.usaracquetball.org], including the mandatory use of protective lensed eyewear tested to ASTM F803 or CSA impact standards.
• •Age Requirement• For age division competition, players must meet the age requirement as of the first day of competition
• •Membership• USA Racquetball membership is required of all participants. At registration, entrants must present a current membership card, a receipt, or a cancelled check indicating recent enrollment as proof of membership, purchase a membership on site for $35..
• •Officiating• All players must report to the tournament desk after their match for referee assignments. Winners will be required to referee, find a suitable substitute, or forfeit from their division.
• •Rules•  All Open matches will follow the 1-rule serve. All matches will consist of the best 2 out of 3 games. the first 2 games to 15, tiebreaker to 11, if necessary. Exception:  Women’s Pros play 3 out of 5 to 11, win by 2.

• guidelines

• All matches will be monitored and sandbaggers will be forfeited with no refund.
• Players may enter a maximum of two (2) events..
• Player will forfeit if not checked in at the tournament desk 30 minutes prior to scheduled playing time.
• Tournament directors have the right to deny or reclassify any entrant.
• Divisions may be combined or eliminated if there are not enough entrants.
• No consolation rounds.
• No smoking allowed in the Crystal Gateway Sport & Health Club.
• Stringer will be available throughout the tournament.
